The Tahiti Bar in Miami was part of the Tahiti Package Store located at 23rd and Liberty Ave, just a block away from the beach. As reported on Critiki, "members of 'the family' were involved in running the Tahiti Bar, I suppose the packages could have been just about anything." I'm going to assume the package store was a state run liquor store.
Maybe by featuring this design, we can crowdsource more info on this Bar and fill in the missing pieces on its history.
