Hop Louie’s Latitude 20 in Torrance, California opened in July 1966. That location was originally the Polynesian, then it became Jamaica West for a short time, before Hop Louie opened up Latitude 20. They were known for their musical entertainers and dancers, featuring artists like the Ernie Menehune Revue, Arthur Lyman or Martin Denny who helped introduce exotic sounds of the South Seas to popular music.

Latitude 20 was closed in the early 80’s to make room for another strip mall, but you can still keep the memory of Latitude 20 alive with this month’s t-shirt.
