The Bali Hai Room at the Ports of Call restaurant in Toronto Ontario was one of 5 themes inside the restaurant. It also featured the Caesar's Room, the Dicken's Room, the Last Chance Saloon, and the Ballon Rouge. The restaurant operated like that for only 12 years, 1963-1975, before the themed rooms were removed and the restaurant was renamed The Ports.
The cocktail menu still exist online and features the Bali Hai, "The Shangri-La of all Polynesian drinks" for $1.95. In 1983, the building was demolished to make room for a very non-tiki style office building, but the Bali Hai Room will never die, as long as you proudly wear your retro inspired Tiki Bar T-Shirt!
