The Beachcomber Hotel, located in Harrisburg PA, promised guests a “complete island vacation.” With Polynesian food, Calypso cocktails and entertainment, diners enjoyed a full tiki experience among a “lavishly” decorated space. Large carved tikis, thatch, masks, wood canoes and fish floats hanging from the ceiling and koa wood tables, surely made anyone’s stay at the hotel one to remember.
The building still stands and is currently an Indian restaurant.
