The Bali Hai Room was one of 5 themed rooms inside the Ports of Call restaurant, located in Summerhill, Toronto. Bali Hai was the popular Polynesian restaurant, and guests remember walking over a wooden footbridge with water flowing underneath before entering the tiki-filled ambiance.The signature cocktail was the Bali Hai “the Shangri-la of all Polynesian drinks” for $1.95, or perhaps you would be enticed by the the Seven Seas Itch “a maiden’s delight capable of stirring up a typhoon on any sea” for $1.65
Ports of Call opened in 1963, and closed in 1983.
